Biography

Kelsey is originally from the small town of Denton, North Carolina. Upon graduating from high school Kelsey attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Society and a minor in History. After working for a brief period of time in sales, Kelsey decided to return to school to become a lawyer. In 2019, she graduated from Elon University School of Law in the top 15% of her class. While in law school Kelsey was a Dean's Scholar, a student mentor for incoming law students, a Leadership Fellow, and an Academic Teaching Fellow. Kelsey was awarded the Excellence in Pro Bono Award for completing more than 75 pro bono hours during her final year of law school. Kelsey joined Daly Mills Family Law upon passing the NC Bar Exam to devote her time to practicing family law.

When Kelsey is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Austin, and their French Bulldog, Thor.
