Biography
Jennifer is originally from Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, and moved to the Concord area with her family in 2005. She received a B.A. from Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and during her tenure there discovered an interest in advocacy and public service through her participation in numerous academic and community service-oriented organizations. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Jennifer worked as an assistant manager of talent and operations for a global specialty retailer. In this role she cultivated a passion for creating a client-focused and people-oriented business environment.
In 2017, Jennifer decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an attorney, attending and graduating from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. While there, she participated in the UNC Law Community Development Law Clinic as a student practitioner advising non-profits on formation and compliance, volunteered for the Orange County Compass Center for Women and Families where she counseled women with family law needs, and was a member of the Graduate and Professional Honor Court.
Jennifer has witnessed close family members go through stressful legal processes and has learned first-hand the need for honest, client-focused attorneys in today’s society. She hopes to utilize her professional experience and passion for helping others to make a measurable, positive impact on each client she serves through her practice of family law
